Our Purpose Planning Process

Over the years, we’ve witnessed a shift in the industry. Rather than focusing on a client’s personal needs, it seems that many advisors are concerned with making sales or fitting clients into a model portfolio. However, no two people are the same, and we believe their financial and investment strategies should reflect their unique situations and individual goals.

At Armstrong Financial Partners, we take an interactive approach to our client relationships. By taking the time to get to know our clients on a personal level, we can deliver our recommendations in the context of their life, which we believe may help them better understand their strategies and feel more confident in their decision-making.

Goals-Based Planning

As we specialize in goals-based financial planning, we follow a holistic, personal process. Before we dive into investment strategies and financial plans, we want to get to know you and your family. In our initial meetings, we learn about multiple key areas of your life, including your family dynamics, health, work, hobbies, stewardship, charitable causes close to your heart, and your financial concerns and goals.

A Tangible Roadmap

Once we understand where you are in life and where you want to go in the future, we develop a proposed financial strategy we believe best aligns with your goals. Together, we’ll review your questions or concerns and implement a strategy with which you are comfortable. We develop your personal Investment Policy Statement, which outlines the positioning of your investments and asset allocation. We also create a financial plan that outlines your financial roadmap and what steps to take. During this phase, we provide ongoing education and clarity regarding your specific financial opportunities. We want you to take a proactive role in your financial life and feel empowered to make informed decisions.

Lifelong Guidance

Beyond implementing your strategies, we strive to maintain strong, long-lasting relationships. Through a high-touch process, we hold ongoing reviews, provide regular communication via email and phone, and host client events. As needed, we also provide a concierge level of service, meeting with your attorneys and CPAs to coordinate estate planning and tax planning needs.

Through our process, we seek to serve as a reliable guide and support system. We want our clients to know they can contact us whenever they have questions.
